After becoming a mom, I lost a part of myself. I was eager to find purpose again, so I turned to freelance work on Upwork—taking any project I could find. Catalogues, yoga leggings, jewelry boxes, websites, posters… I did it all. It felt amazing to work again, but I was barely making $1-2K a month, constantly writing proposals to land my next gig. It was exhausting.
Then I landed a more stable freelance contract with a Cannabis company, finally making $4K/month. I handled everything—web design, branding, and promotional materials. It was fun, and I realized how much I loved creating product mockups that made the business look legit without spending thousands on photoshoots.
That’s when it hit me—I had the skills to build my own business. Surface design. Mockups. Web design. Branding.
Everything aligned perfectly for me to start my Print-on-Demand journey.
And that’s where my story began.
But what happened next? Let’s just say… success wasn’t the happy ending I expected.
